1.State Project Officer – (Unreserved - 01) As the leader of the team, you will be responsible for
planning, execution and monitoring of all project activities of the Mission and guide the district units under the
Mission to deliver quality results. You would also develop strategies to build a common vision of Project across
the staff and provide inputs towards bringing synergy in different initiatives of the project. You should have
worked in development sector dealing with issues of poverty eradication as well as upliftment of the
marginalized section of the society with at least 10 years of relevant experience and Post Graduate Degree /
Diploma in Rural Development / Rural Management / Master in Business Application /Social Science /
Social Works in any other discipline from a reputed institute. You should have the proven track record of
handling large scale project for the poverty eradication. You should be competent enough in Managerial,
Financial, Technical and Monitoring & Evaluation related skills and ability to face the challenges and generate the
innovative ideas for the project. The gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 30,000 – 35,000 (consolidated)
2.State Project Manager – for different streams (Unreserved–04, EBC–02, SC–01, BC–01)
One position in each of the streams
·General Administration – (1)
·Capacity Building – (1) training and capacity building of the beneficiary community.
·Human Resources – (1) managerial capacity on the different aspects of human resources.
·Communication – (1) developing the resource materials and communication strategy.
·Management Information System (MIS) – (1) monitoring and evaluation aspect of the project.
·Project Intervention – (1) bringing in innovative approach in designing, developing and implementing
projects.
·Coordination – (1) networking, coordination and facilitating the project implementation with multiple
stakeholders.
·Land Reforms & Development - (1)
The eight posts will be assigned to the selected candidates from the concerning stream as mentioned
above. You would closely work with the district and block teams to ensure that all staff shares the same vision of
the Project. You would also provide close guidance to assist capacity building teams with design inputs in
Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission is an organization formed by Government of Bihar for
specific planning and development of the most deprived scheduled castes of the
state. These deprived sections are termed as Mahadalits. Bihar Mahadalit
Development Mission is striving to bring a change in the lives of about 10 lakh
poorest of the poor families of Bihar, spread over the entire state. Mission is formed
as an independent, autonomous body under SC/ST Welfare Department, Government
of Bihar and has an independent three tier implementation structure at the State,

different streams. You should have excellent communication skill (both oral and writing). You should have a Post
Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Statistics, Economics, Social Science, Social
Work, Information Technology, Communication, Micro Finance, Livelihood Mass Communication /
Management / Social Work/ Rural Development from a premier institute or a graduate with 10 years experience
in development sector. Candidate with relevant experience in the respective stream will be preferred. The
gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 20,000 – 25,000 (consolidated)
3.Accounts Officer – State (Unreserved - 01) You should have worked in book- keeping and accounts
related job with reputed institutions, Government programmes/project or NGOs. Knowledge of working on
computer and operating Tally or any other double entry accounting Software will be essential. You will be
stationed at State level and responsible to look after all accounts related work, preparing periodical financial
reports and operationalise prudent financial norms within office. You should have completed M.Com / Charted
Accountancy / MBA Finance / Other equivalent Qualification with at least 3 yrs work experience in Finance
Management / Accounting , dealing with budget preparation and fund flow management preferably for a
large rural development project. The gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 20,000 – 25,000 (consolidated) .
4.Senior Engineer – State (Unreserved - 01) You would be responsible for smooth operations of all the
construction and infrastructure development works under the schemes of Mission in Block and the District Units.
You would also guide and train Block and district level functionaries in proper monitoring of the related work. You
should have completed Bachelor degree in Engineering in Civil from any reputed institution with at least 3
years work experience in a leading role in handling a large scale infrastructure development project. The
gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 30,000 – 35,000 (consolidated)
5.Engineer (Monitoring)- (Unreserved - 01) You would be expected to work under the guidance of Senior
Engineer in the monitoring of all the construction and infrastructure development works under the Mission. You
would take support & ensure coordination between different Block and district level units. You should have
completed Bachelor degree in Engineering in Civil from any reputed institution with at least some work
experience in a leading role in handling a large scale infrastructure development project. The gross monthly
remuneration is 20,000 – 25,000 (consolidated).
6.Computer Programmer cum Operator (Unreserved - 01) You should have worked with data
management programmes and desktop publishing software in development projects/government programmes.
You should be able to manage field based data in exclusively designed web based MIS for the project and
prepare required periodic reports. You will also be responsible for all troubleshooting required at field units for
managing project data. You should also have the proficiency of key stroke both in Hindi and English @ 10-
12000/hour. You should have a Post Graduate degree or Diploma in Computer Application. Experience in
relevant field would be preferable. The gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 10,000 – 12,000 (consolidated)
7.Accountant – (Unreserved - 01) You should have worked in book- keeping and accounts related job with
reputed institutions, Government programmes/project or NGOs. Knowledge of working on computer and
operating Tally or any other double entry accounting Software will be essential. You will be working under the
guidance of Accounts Officer at state level and responsible to look after all accounts related work, preparing
periodic financial reports and operationalise prudent financial norms within office. You should have completed
graduate degree in commerce with some relevant experience. The gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 10,000 –
15,000 (consolidated)

8.Store Keeper (Unreserved - 01) You should have worked in extending secretarial assistance and
managing communication, office record keeping, compiling of project information and maintaining records related
with programme, administrative and HRD affairs in reputed institutions/ government programme/development
project or NGO. Excellent knowledge of working on computer with MS office environment will be must. You
should also possess good writing and typing skill in both Hindi and English. You should have completed a
graduate degree in any discipline with some relevant experience. The gross monthly remuneration is Rs. 10,000
– 15,000 (consolidated)
General Terms & Conditions: (All Positions)
Candidates applying for any of the above posts under age of 45 years will be preferred.
Candidates with empathy and zeal to work for the weaker sections will be preferred.
Proficiency in computers and command on MS Office is essential for all positions.
Reservation Policy of Govt. of Bihar will be applicable. Reservation benefits will only be available to the domiciled residents of
Bihar.
All Positions are offered on a contract basis for a period of three years, renewable based on review of performance.
Apart from the consolidated monthly remuneration, Annual Performance Pay and Increment would be permissible. Other project
benefits like Child Education Allowance, Communication and self learning benefits may also be extended.
Government employees, persons employed with PSUs and Bank employees are also encouraged to apply. Relevant deputation
norms would be applicable for them. If shortlisted, they would undergo the same selection process as other candidates. Apart
from their existing salary, persons taken on deputation may receive a project allowance and Annual Performance incentive as per
the Project norms. Other Project benefits like communication and self learning benefits may also be extended to them.
Remuneration would be fixed based on qualification and years of experience.
