What is guided-problem solving in movement education?

Guided problem-solving in movement education involves providing learners with structured challenges or scenarios that require them to use their movement skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. This approach encourages participants to explore, experiment, and find creative solutions to movement-related challenges.

According to Mosston and Ashworth (1986), the guided discovery approach involves students solving teacher-created problems with guidance from the teacher.

ACTIVITY

I-Transport mo ako Beybe

This is a Team activity, there should be 2 teams. Participants must transport the objects from the starting point to checkpoint and to the ending point using only specific body parts (ex. elbows, knees). There are 2 tasks, Transport Task which is found in the starting point and Fitness Task which is found in the checkpoint. The first team to finish transporting the objects must shout “ Tapos na kame BEYBE” wins the game, and takes objects of the opposing team. How to play the game

Rules The first participant must finish his tasks from start to checkpoint to finish line, before the next runner can read and go No shortcuts, the participant should do all the task If the object falls remain in your position take the object and continue doing your task
