About This Presentation

This slide is all about Brain computer system. There main topic are BCI how to signal pass and how to BCI to brain communication and connected other component. This slide descibe about partial invasive and none invasive and descibe about application of BCI system

Slide Content

Brain Computer interface

Introduction A brain computer is a technology which allows a human to control a computer, peripheral or electronic device with thought. It does so by using electrodes to detect to electric signal in the brain which are send to a computer. The computer then translate this electric signal into data which is used to control a computer or a device linked to a computer.

Basic block diagram of BCI system incorporating signal detection , processing and developing.

BCI WORKING

Brain to computer Interfacing

Basic mechanism 1. Wires from each electrode transmit their measurement to a computer. 2. The electrode measure minute difference in the voltage between neuron. 3. The signal is then amplified and filtered. 4. The computer produces a graph showing the reading from each electrode.

Invasive BCI Invasive Neurosurgery

Partial invasive

Non-invasive BCI

Application of BCI system

-For people with certain disabilities ( paraplegia, amyotrophia, …) BCI might be the only of communication. -Human enhancement: . cybernetic organism . Brainwave synchronization . Exocortex (intelligence booster) -Human manipulation: . Mind control . “Neurohaking” unwanted reading information from brain -neuroprosthetics: -surgically implanted devices used as replacement for damaged neuron. -Develop intelligence relaxation device. -provide additional channel of control in computer games. -”Google search” through brain
