4. Population The world population is 138.75 million is less than 10% of the total world bovine population. Largest concentration of buffaloes is in asia and pacific countries is about 133.51 million.

5. lifespan If we do a good management of buffaloes then they lived long upto 15years.buffaloes at 18 and even mire may produce calves.working buffaloes still in use at well over 20 years of their age.
