Types of cultural buildings

Types of cultural buildings 1- Museum : A bulging in which objects historical , scientific , artistic or cultural interested are stored and exhibited . Article of Britannica classification museum in five types: natural museum, and natural science , science and technology , history and art.

2- Callaries Abuilding that used for showing works of art Abuilding for the display or sale of works of art.

3-Theater A building or outdoor area in which plays and other dramatic performance are given A Building in which play, motion pictures or show are presented

4- Multipurpose hall Is usable for different events hall Defined as covered event locations for various types of events Multifunctional hall or multifunctional event hall 5- Cinema motion picture- usually used attributively movies epically : the film industry : the art or technique of making motion pictures

Location vs site A Place where a factory, house …etc. is or is to be; situated A Space of ground occupied or to be occupied by a building

Importance of Site Selection A good choice of site plays a major role in making the architecture and usability successful. Suitable site for a project plays a large role in enhancing the quality of the building and the experiences of its occupants. Site selection and analysis is to process out how apt and advantageous the site would be after something has been developed in to it ,and what would be the context of the same with respect to its surroundings -

Criteria for selecting cultural centre 1- Easy access to it . 2- the area is suitable with the spaces and users . 3- The nature of site to avoid the element which is not controlled. 4- The nature of the land surrounding with the gallery and the angle from which is viewing the site. 5- The quaintly of gallery possibility to chose the right location m while studying the prelateship to the city and what is in it . of the element of specific program on the chosen site t
