Pappachan turned professional in 1982 Born in  Parappur  in Thrissur district played for  Kerala Police team1982-1998  FC Kochin 1998-99. captained Kerala Police team and Kerala State team. represented Kerala in the  Santosh Trophy tournament eight times. played in many national and international tournaments. Currently - Deputy Commandant in India Reserve Battalion, Thrissur.
