2. Common name : Akanda Natural order : Asclepiadeae Habitat : East India

3. Part used : Tincture of bark of root. Tincture of milky juice or gum .

4. Herbal uses : Juice of bark and root is used as emetics, sudorifics etc. Fresh juice is used as an external application for skin complaints.

6. HEAD: Dizziness with inclination to vomit Dull occipital headache from 11am H ead hot till midnight Throbbing pain confusion

7. Face : Hot Cheeks burn like fire Lips dry

8. Mouth : Foul breath Pain on moving the jaw Soreness & swelling on the right side of the palate

13. Contd… Intermittent cramping pain moves the foot to get relief. Places the foot very gently, can stand without pain but pain returns when lifting the foot.

14. Sleep : Restless Tossing from side to side.

15. Fever : Chills passing up the spine. Head hot ; body cold. Cheeks burn like fire. Chills return bedtime even when close to fire. Fits of perspiration alternate with chills.
