Common name : Akanda Natural order : Asclepiadeae Habitat : East India

Part used : Tincture of bark of root. Tincture of milky juice or gum .

Herbal uses : Juice of bark and root is used as emetics, sudorifics etc. Fresh juice is used as an external application for skin complaints.

Homoeopathic uses : Syphilis Obesity Asthma Diarrhoea Rheumatism Leprosy Catarrh Intestinal worms Skin disease Poisonous bites

HEAD: Dizziness with inclination to vomit Dull occipital headache from 11am H ead hot till midnight Throbbing pain confusion

Face : Hot Cheeks burn like fire Lips dry

Mouth : Foul breath Pain on moving the jaw Soreness & swelling on the right side of the palate

Stomach : Constant eructation Nausea

Urine : []Frequent [] Dark red . []Strong smell

Respiratory : Oppression of chest. Short respiration .

Extremities : Cramping pain in centre of right palm when grasping anything. Pain in wrist joint < Motion Foot red & swollen but not tender.

Contd… Intermittent cramping pain moves the foot to get relief. Places the foot very gently, can stand without pain but pain returns when lifting the foot.

Sleep : Restless Tossing from side to side.

Fever : Chills passing up the spine. Head hot ; body cold. Cheeks burn like fire. Chills return bedtime even when close to fire. Fits of perspiration alternate with chills.
