Selain itu juga ada yanh mamanya waktu past tense, tersedia juga direct object dan indirect Narrative text adalah jenis teks yang bertujuan menceritakan sebuah kisah, baik nyata maupun fiksi, melalui rangkaian peristiwa yang terhubung secara kronologis, dengan tujuan menghibur pembaca, memberikan informasi, atau mengajarkan pelajaran moral. Ciri-ciri utama narrative text:
Menggunakan Past Tense: Menggambarkan kejadian yang sudah terjadi di masa lampau.
Mengandung Konflik dan Resolusi: Terdapat masalah yang dihadapi tokoh (konflik) dan penyelesaiannya di akhir cerita.
Memperkenalkan Tokoh dan Setting: Pengenalan karakter, waktu, dan tempat kejadian cerita di awal teks.
Bahasa Imajinatif: Menggunakan bahasa yang menarik agar pembaca dapat merasakan dan membayangkan cerita tersebut.
Terdapat Percakapan: Seringkali ada dialog atau percakapan antar tokoh di dalam cerita.

Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih (Shallot and Garlic) were half-sisters who were
of opposite characteristics. Bawang Merah was a Iazy, greedy girl spoiled by their mother
while Bawang Putih was obedient, diligent and did all the chores without complaining.
One laundry day at the river bank, Bawang Putih lose a scarf, which was picked up
by an old woman. The old woman said she would return the scarf if Bawang Putih cooked
and cleaned for her. Bawang Putih did as she told her to do to get the scarf back. The scarf
was Bawang Merah's favourite. She was afraid she would be angry with her.
After doing aIl of the old woman's demand, as a gift she asked her to choose one
of her two pumpkins, a small or a large one.
Bawang Putih chose the smaller pumpkin. When she broke open the pumpkin at
home, she discovered the fruit was full of jewelries inside.
Bawang Merah and their mother got jealous and wanted their own pumpkin filled
with jewelery, so they went to the river and deliberately lose their scarves. Then they
visited the old woman's house and asked for a pumpkin. They brought home the big one,
but instead of jewelries, their large pumpkin was filled with snakes. The snakes attacked
them to die.
