4. HARRINGTON SPLANCHNIC RETRACTOR Hand held manual retractor. Heart shaped tip of blade is designed to reduce trauma to organs such as liver , intestines. Used to retract tissues and organs deep in the abdominal region.

5. MAYO RUSSIAN TISSUE FORCEPS These are thumb forceps. Used to grasp dense tissues. Commonly used to hold the tissue during wound debridement and closure. Also used in dental procedures.

6. Adson brown forceps Used for holding and manipulating delicate tissues Jaws are short and tips are narrow

7. Gerald tissue forceps Narrow tips, specially used to handle delicate tissues. Most commonly used in cardio vascular thoracic procedures.

8. Debakey aorta aneurysm clamps Used in cardiovascular procedures. Provides complete blockage of blood flow in the aorta. This instrument has atraumatic teeth.

9. Debakey atraumatic tangential clamps Used in cardiovascular to provide partial clamping of vessels. Used to hold the section of vessel wall while blood continues to flow through the open section. Non traumatic teeth causing little to no demage to the vessel Also used in vascular graft procedure.

10. Debakey atraumatic peripheral vessel clamps Used in cardiovascular procedure in clamping & occuluding blood flow from larger vessels. Atraumatic teeth, 60 degree angle. Also used for clamping vessels.

11. Glover patent ductus Used in cardio vascular procedures. Used in clamping ductus anteriosus in infants. Both curved and straight. It is also used as a hemostat .

12. GLOVER COARCTATION CLAMPS Hemostat clamp, used in cardio vascular procedures. Used in clamping the short section of aorta. Both straight and curved

13. Cooley multipurpose clamps Used for clamping various sizes of vessels. Available in 60 degree angle and straight. Used as a hemostat to prevent blood flow. Atraumatic teeth.

14. Debakey needle holder Lighter than the mayo needle holder. Length is 7 inches. Cross serrated jaws. Commonly used in cardio vascular procedures. Used for holding needles & suturing. Useful in deeper surgeries where there is restricted space such as chest surgery.

15. Castroviejo needle holder It is double spring instrument. used for holding small needles in cardio vascular operations. Straight with smooth jaws It also features a locking mechanism for firm grip of needle.
