There are 3 Papers of 3 Hr duration for total 600 Marks
There are 5 sections in each paper for 40 marks each (i.e. A,
B, C, D, E)
In each section there are 2 questions, solve any one.
i.e. total 10 questions in a paper, each carrying 40 marks, i.e.
total 400 marks in a paper
Attempt any ONE question from TWO, i.e. attempt 200 marks
from 400
Maharashtra Engineering Service, by Pravin Kolhe
28
Thus for 3 papers, attempt 600 marks out of 1200
Thus, for 4 papers, attempt 750 marks out of 1350
For interview, there are 100 marks
Thus, attempt 850 marks out of total 1450
Generally topper gets 50 to 60% of 850 marks. i.e. 450 to 500
i.e. to be a topper, get 500 marks out of 1450
