THE INTERNATIONAL
DAY FOR
FAILURE
OCTOBER 13th
Our culture does not
accept failure.
Why?
You’re afraid because people judge you.
Of course,
it hurts
And perhaps because
there might be no
second chance?
Fear of failure prevails like a virus.
The result is…
No timely
action for
problems
Discouraged
bold actions
and new starts
Massive
sufferings
and stigmas
HOWEVER,
the biggest price you
have to pay is…
The valuable lessons
ARE NOT SHARED.
The success stories
ARE NOT CREATED.
Let’s re-shape
our culture for
failure
We must celebrate failure.
In order to make it happen,
We organized our first National Day for Failure to
celebrate failure and help them understand failure
as a valuable learning experience.
TWO YEARS AGO IN FINLAND,
We gathered people together to share their failures
stories and lessons. And..
WE INTERVIEWED PUBLIC FIGURES,
Extensive media coverage and
attention from the public followed.
80,000+ 300+ 1 mil+
Views for our videos
Personal failure
stories shared
Visitors for our
Facebook page
Given the small population of Finland, these were no small numbers!
we came to truly believe in our power to make a
difference and amplify our impact on a global scale.
SINCE THEN,
We invite you to get involved and celebrate
The International Day for Failure in your region.
There are tons of ways to celebrate the day!
Failure-sharing party with
family and friends
Workshops at
organizations such as a
school or a company
Public events
