CHANGES IN MATTER
Freezing is a phase transition in which a liquid turns into a solid when its temperature is lowered below its freezing point.
Here are some common examples of freezing: Snowfall. Sea Ice. Frozen Food. Solidifying of Melted Candle Wax.
Melting, or fusion a physical process that results in the phase transition of a substance from a solid to a liquid. This occurs when the internal energy of the solid increases, typically by the application of heat or pressure, which increases the substance's temperature to the melting point.
Here are some common examples of freezing: Melting Ice to liquid water. Melting of butter. Melting of candle.
Evaporation It is the process that changes liquid water to gaseous water (water vapor). the process by which a liquid turns into a gas
Examples of Evaporation Boiling of water Clothes drying on a line. The water level going down in a cup. Steam from a hot shower or bath. Using a hairdryer. Ironing clothes by heating moisture.
Condensation the process where water vapor becomes liquid. Condensation happens one of two ways: Either the air is cooled to its dew point or it becomes so saturated with water vapor that it cannot hold any more water.

Sublimation the process where water vapor becomes liquid. Condensation happens one of two ways: Either the air is cooled to its dew point or it becomes so saturated with water vapor that it cannot hold any more water.
