▪It is the largest bus terminus in Asia standing at
37 acres

▪This terminus is located at the city centreand is easily accessible .
Being well connected with railway station and nearby cities as well,
the place experiences heavy crowd during peak hours.
▪This falls under the 3
rd
program, i.e., that including metro cities.
▪Use of skylights for lighting and jaalifor ventilation.
▪Wheel chair accessible entrance is provided .
▪Passenger area is cleanly maintained, along with facilities like LCD
screens and paid ac waiting area.
▪Landscaping is not done on the site. Can be implemented to increase
the aesthetic value of the site.

Goals
▪To rebuild the confidence of the stakeholders, so that they do not get
infected with the virus and neither do they fear being vulnerable.
▪Use of floor markings to ensure social distancing.
▪Revamping the ventilation system to ensure control over the aerial
spread of the virus.
▪Installing sanitisation booths
