About Me
I am a second year student pursuing dual degrees in Interior Design and Sus-
tainability at Oregon State University. I focus on creating environments that
are not only functional but also expressive and deeply personal.
My design approach balances aesthetics with practicality, emphasizing intri-
cate details and layered compositions to enhance the character of a space.
I enjoy experimenting with color palettes, materials, and spatial layouts to
create interiors that feel both dynamic and cohesive. Through my studies and
hands-on projects, I have explored a range of styles and techniques, refining
my ability to craft spaces that reflect the unique needs and personalities of
those who inhabit them.
Beyond design, I find inspiration in art, nature, and everyday moments that
shape how we experience our surroundings. Whether working on residential
or commercial spaces, I strive to create interiors that feel inviting, meaning-
ful, and timeless.

?? Design Palettte Narrative and
Materials Board
Inspired by the elegance and mystery
of the black swan, my residential design
concept embraces a rich, sophisticated
color story that mirrors both the swan’s
form and its natural habitat. Deep blacks,
charcoals, and grays establish a moody
yet inviting foundation, balanced by soft
ivories and shimmering pearl tones that
evoke lightness and fluidity. Accents of
red, deep greens, and blues introduce
depth and intrigue, reflecting the strik-
ing contrast of a black swan’s red beak
and the organic tones of its wetland sur-
roundings. The selected materials further
enhance this narrative, incorporating
natural elements like dark-stained ma-
ple wood for cabinetry, polished Pental
Quartz with a waterfall edge to suggest
the sleek, reflective qualities of water,
and a variety of textiles that range from
velvety softness to textured boucle, rep-
resenting textures that can be seen in
swan’s feathers.

Creation and
Application using
Adobe Illustrator

These projects were developed using Adobe Illustrator. I began by creating my own unique pat-
terns using the color scheme of my choice. The next step was to create an object to apply the pat-
tern to, which I did by drawing the object in black and white, allowing me to fill it in with my col-
ors and patterns later. From there I developed the drawing in a way that I felt reflected my design
style. After that, I applied my rendered design to a real image of the object to provide a more real-
istic representation, utilizing Photoshop in addition to Illustrator to add shadows and texture.
