STORY
Classic Savory was made at the end of World War 2 to
give hope not only for Filipinos but also for the founders,
the Ting Brothers. They put up a ‘pancitera’ in the busy
district of Quiapo in 1950.
FURTHER BACKGROUND
Established in 1950 in Quiapo originally as a panciteria by the
three Ting brothers.
The original savory restaurant at the base of Jones Bridge is still
serving the traditional dishes that their ancestors handed down to
them, preserving the flavor of its fried chicken so famous that it is
now copied.
