Healthy living is influenced by clean surroundings or home environment
It is very important that you may learn to clean the rooms and not depend on others to do the job for you
Cleaning every room in the house consist mostly of daily dusting and sweeping and occasional mopping and scrubbing. It is very important to clean these rooms because most family activities are done daily in these areas.
L iving room/family room This area is the gathering place of the family members after a long day’s of work or after meals. Guest are also entertained in the living room.
B edroom Is used for sleeping and for dressing. It may also be used at times for studying.
Kitchen The Kitchen needs frequent mopping, scrubbing and washing.
It should be the cleanest part of the house because food preparation, cooking and dishwashing are done in this area.
A clean kitchen is a guarantee to a clean and sanitary food served to the family .
A dirty kitchen is a breeding place for pests such as cockroaches, rats, and ants that thrive on garbage and spread germs.
The bathroom is another area in the house that should be as clean as the kitchen. Bathroom
The bathroom is used frequently by the family and therefore needs cleaning as often as possible. The bathroo m must be cleaned up after use.
The tiled bathroom needs to be scrubbed, mopped, and washe d with the right detergent. It must remain free of undesirable odor all the time.
Oftentimes, the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom is a reflection of the cleanliness and safety of a home .

15 Bedroom Wash bed sheets weekly in hot water, and dry them in a hot dryer. Wash pillows 4 times a year (replace annually). Wash blankets, comforters, and mattress pads monthly. V acuum w ee k l y , or damp mop hard-surface floors weekly. Dust furniture weekly.
16 Reduce Clutter Clutter make cleaning more difficult. Clutter creates more surfaces that must be dusted. Clutter causes chaos.
17 Tips for Vacuuming 01 02 03 04 05 Vacuum at least once a week –more often if you have a pet. Empty the canister when it’s half full (or throw it away if it’s disposable). A canister vacuum without a powered nozzle is good for cleaning upholstery, draperies, blinds, light dusting, and hard-surface floors. An upright vacuum or a canister with a powered nozzle is best for carpet. Use vacuum that has a HEPA filter and/or exhaust filter, or use a special bag that holds allergens inside the bag.
