This page can be viewed and explored on the internet by the use of a program called web browser. Home Page – is usually the first web page of a web site which usually provides information about the web site, its purpose and contents.

Accessing the Web Dial-up Connection – is connecting the internet using telephone lines. The method of connection is done like making a call over the telephone line with the aid of a modem. When the connection is established, the computer at both ends can now begin to communicate. The internet connection ends when one of the users hangs-up. A disadvantage is the slow data transmision and the telephone could not be utilized for voice communication while connected to the internet.

Accessing the Web DSL – or digital subscriber line is also connecting the internet using telephone lines but provides both data and voice communications, meaning you can use it both to talk and transmit data at the same time unlike dial-up connection. DSL transmision is several times faster and is more reliable compared to the dial-up connection.

Accessing the Web Cable Internet – is online connection to the web the use of cable lines already used by the cable television (TV) providers. Cable lines can carry TV and data signals faster since they are dedicated line originally intended for TV.

Accessing the Web Wireless Internet – is internet connection provided by wireless service providers (WSP) wherein wireless enabled computers and gadgets can access to.

Accessing the Web Dedicated line – is internet using permanent and continuous connection using a ‘dedicated line’ which is of reliable and stable signal for very important internet applications.
