5. Lesson Proper – Discussion Metric System: • Based on powers of 10. • Common units: – Length: mm, cm, m, km – Mass: g, kg – Capacity: mL, L Conversion rule: • Move decimal RIGHT → smaller unit. • Move decimal LEFT → larger unit.
