Pre-Industrial Age (Before 1700s) People discovered fire, developed paper from plants, and forged weapons and tools with stone, bronze, copper and iron.
Example: Cave paintings (35,000 BC) In the time of prehistoric men, the way of communication between the people was through cave paintings by using paint and brushes to draw images.
Example: Clay tablets in Mesopotamia (2400 BC) More than 5000 years ago, people living in Mesopotamia developed a form of writing to record and communicate different types of information.
Example: Papyrus in Egypt (2500 BC) 4,000-year-old Ancient Egyptian manuscript measuring more than 8ft has been rediscovered in Cairo

Industrial Age (1700s-1930s) People used the power of steam, developed machine tools, established iron production, and the manufacturing of various products (including books through the printing press). Vintage Printing Factory. Rotary cylinder web press They used in the past to print type.
Example: Printing press for mass production (19th century) Desmyters Dixmudschen Almanach from 1865 is the oldest book printed and published by Eduard Desmyter which was traced so far . Electronic Age (1930s-1980s) The invention of the transistor ushered in the electronic age. People harnessed the power of transistors that led to the transistor radio, electronic circuits, and the early computers.

Example: Large electronic computers- i.e. EDSAC (1949) and UNIVAC 1 (1951) EDSAC may have been the site of the first video game – a version of naught and crosses (tic-tac-toe) which output to the cathode ray tube. 1951 – First Commercial Computer UNIVAC 11951 – First Commercial Computer. It used 5,200 vacuum tubes . Weight : 29,000 pounds (13 metric tons)Consumed 125 kW Performance : 1,905 operations per second running on a 2.25 MHz clock.
