MARKETING 2016 …
VIDEO IS KING
Wall Street Journalreported that luxury car brand, Lexus created over 1000 unique
ads for a recent campaign, each one catering to a slightly different audience segment
on Facebook:
Each video is designed to promote the virtues of the Lexus NX by comapringit to
objects directly relevant to consumers’ tastes. If a user is deemed by Facebook to be
an avid traveler, for example, the ad might follow a travel related theme. ~WSJ

MARKETING 2016 …
VIDEO IS KING
Three billion videos are viewed on Facebook every day. That’s according to Mark
Zuckerbergon Facebook’s most recent earnings call last month.
Interestingly enough, the same day Facebook announced its three billion views per
day, YouTube changed the settings on its videos to auto-play. Before the change,
videos would only play automatically if they were in a playlist.
