Retro Car: The retro car serves multiple purposes in the movie,
including establishing the time period and adding to the overall
aesthetic.
Power Poses: Cruella is often shown standing in front of large elements
such as billboards or cars, emphasizing her power and authority.
Flowing Fabric: The use of flowing fabric is a recurring theme in the
movie, portraying a sense of fluidity. It is often seen encompassing a
falling or being moved .
Dresses: The dresses worn by Cruella and displayed on mannequins
play a significant role in the movie. They represent a change in her
motivation and serve as a symbol of victory.
Pendant: The pendant is an important item in the plot of the story and
ties into the overall themes of the movie.

together to form the word Cruella, there is an
element of chaos.
The text is painted on her face, and it looks like
it is out of a magazine.

9. TYPEFACE
The names of people invoved used this serif font. it invoces o feeling of
sofistication and power.
The colour is in the shades of white or yellow, so as to stand out from the
background.
The font is used in many fashion related events.

10. PATTENS AND MOOD
Key Elements are Dark and Powerful
Retro Elements: Incorporating grainy TV static in billboards,
old cars, and buildings.
Consistent promotion-like style, mimicking magazines and
cover boards.
Use of minimal colors and dark tones.
Repeated use of Cruella's silhouette or eyes.
Big billboards to emphasize the grandness of the promotion.
The use of ligth and shadow to show elements of fashion.
Evokes dark, powerful, and retro themes with a modern twist.

11. LAYOUT AND COMPOSITION
In most shots, Cruella takes the center and is highlighted. In these
shots, all emphasis is on her.
Elements that play a role in the plot of the story are present off-center
in most of the shots.
Significant scenes from the movie are composed mostly on the upper
part of the layout.
There is a significant role that light and shadow play. The lights are
harsh and allow to create a contrast with the elements and type.
The colors were placed meticulously and only used a little to showcase
an emotion of the scene.

15. VISUAL EFFECTS
A series of CGI featuring flashes of light, gilded
moths and mannequins, crimson crepe and
catwalks.
Images were layered on each other to create a
promotional type poster for the background.
There is a clear difference between the foreground
and the background. In some instances, there is
drastic movement in the background and the
elements in the foreground are static or vice versa.
The meticulous use of light to highlight elements
and make them grand.

16. MUSIC
The song "Call me Cruella" by Florence & The Machine
was released in 2021 as part of the "Cruella"
soundtrack.
It's an alternative/indie song that encourages
embracing one's inner darkness and rejecting societal
expectations of being good and nice.
The song starts with the familiar chorus from the
Disney movie but takes a turn with lyrics about being
original, criminal, and dressed to kill, finding it
thrilling to inspire fear in others.

17. SUMMARY
The design's black-and-white color scheme is a nod to
Cruella de Vil's iconic look . the colour and light replesnt
her and the world of fashion.
The elegant lettering reflects Cruella's passion for fashion
while the edgy, distressed, or jagged fonts hint at the
chaos and rebellion that ultimately define her character.
The title design is likely to incorporate dynamic elements,
transitions, or animations that add to the energy and
movement.
Overall, the title design of "Cruella" sets a tone of evil and
rebellion, and is a glimpse into Cruella's character.
