2. CSAB SFTI 2017 COUNSELLING JEE Main CSAB SFTI Counselling is conducted for admission to B.E / B.Tech and B.Arch / B.Planning programme in all participating Self-Financed Technical Institutes. CSAB SFTI Counselling through JEE Main is done after the JoSAA Counselling is over. It is expected to begin from last week of July 2017.

4. CSAB SFTI 2017 B. TECH/ B.E. ELIGIBILITY Candidates must have secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2017 Paper-1. Candidates should have obtained 45% for General Category and 40% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD marks in the Class XII. Marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, any one of [Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or technical vocational subject] and any fifth subject studied by the candidate would be considered for calculating aggregate marks.

5. Candidate should have secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2017 Paper-2. Candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII (or equivalent) examination. Candidates must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in total five subjects including Mathematics. Eligibility For B.Arch. / B.Planning

CSAB SFTI 2017 SEAT ALLOCATION Candidate will be allocated seats on the basis of their choice and their JEE Main 2017 All India Rank.  34 Engineering and Architecture/Planning institutions are expected to participate in CSAB SFTI 2017.  Seat allocation process will be strictly based on merit, preferences filled by the candidates and availability of the seats in participating institutions.

8. ALLOTMENT PROCESS

9. INITIAL FEE PAYMENT Steps of fee payment are as follows: Open the official website of CSAB. Download the format of the E-challan available on the website. Fill the details such as Candidate’s name, age, gender, category, date of birth, educational qualification, contact details and bank details. Pay the registration fee i.e., INR 40,000 (refundable) by e-challan in any branch of State Bank of India.

10. CHOICE FILLING AND LOCKING After the payment, candidates can select the institutes as per their preference and lock them. If candidates fail to lock the choices before the last date then their last saved preferences are considered as final choice. In case candidates have not been allotted any seat, then they will be allowed to modify their choices. If candidates have surrendered the previous allotted seat then they are eligible to participate in the final spot round of counselling.

11. SEAT ALLOCATION AND VERIFICATION Candidates will receive a provisional seat allotment letter after the allocation of seat, they need to download and print the allotment letter to take part in further process. Candidates should report with original as well as attested copies of all the requisite documents at the reporting centers mentioned in the letter. Once the verification is done the board will issue the provisional admission letter.

12. REPORTING TO THE INSTITUTION Candidates, who have been allotted a seat, should report to their allotted institute for admission within the stipulated time period along with all the required documents. Applicants who fail to visit their respective institutes within the deadline will lose their claim to allotted seat and candidature. In such cases, registration fees will not be refunded. Session will commence as per the notified schedule of allotted institute.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CBAB SFTI 2017 Provisional Seat Allotment Letter Proof or Receipt of fee payment by e-challan of SBI Original Admit Card of JEE Main 2017 One passport size photograph similar to the one pasted on the JEE Main - 2017 Application Form Score Card of JEE Main-2017 issued by CBSE Photo ID proof issued by Central Govt. / State Govt. / Last attended School/ 12 th  class Admit card Class X marks sheet as proof of date of birth and Name of Candidate

14. Class XII (High School) Board Certificate and Marks sheet of qualifying examination for verification in format provided in the Business Rule followed by CSAB Medical Certificate in the format prescribed by CSAB.
