MISSION The vision of GT SKILLSTECH SCHOOL OF TRADE (GTST) is to help alleviate poverty if not to eradicate, by providing specialized training programs for a short period of time, and to expedite the employment of its graduates. It also envisions to working with government and non-government agencies and concerned organizations through scholarships, that will, not only provide jobs but will make the citizens of this country very productive. CBT is a training delivery approach that focuses on the competency development of the learner as a result of the training. What is CBT Approach?
10 CBT Principles Learning is based on competency-based curriculum. Learning is based on competency-based or modular in structure. Learning is done by learner at own pace. Learning is based on actual industry process. Training materials are directly related to the competency standard and curriculum. Assessment of learners is based on collection of evidence of work performance base on industry or organizational required standard. Training is based on and off the job components. The system allows the recognition of prior learning. There is a flexibility for entry and exit for programs. Approved training programs are nationally accredited.
