Cus D`Amato

Cus D`Amato was legendary American boxing trainer.
He trained the youngest world`s boxing super-heavy weight
champions.
Including Mike Tyson and Floyd Patterson.

Cus D'Amato was born in 1908 in New York in an Italian family of
immigrants. He was one of eight brothers.
In his childhood he dreamed of becoming a boxer like his big brother
Jerry

At 12 years old he take part in the street fight with the adult man.
After it he became a blind to one eye forever.
But his love for boxing was such strong that he involved his life with the
sport.
It's interesting, that the person, who never boxed, made three world's
boxing super-heavy weight champions!

Cus rescued America from the young criminals.
His gym was located on the second floor a building, and on the
first there was a police office.
Many students rose from the ground floor to the second.
He created a study about fear, which he was used in the
training of boxers.

He enter in the history as the unbalanced and unsociable
wise man. He did not like strangers, and he associated with
close people. After a conflict with the mafia, Cus was afraid
of killers all life. He died in 77 years (1985) after the
inflammation of lungs.
