Cause: My alarm woke me up too early this morning, and I didn't have enough time to have breakfast before work. Effect: I felt like I was running on fumes all day, and I never really got into a good groove.
Cause: My boss gave me too much work to do today, and I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Effect: I had a hard time focusing and getting anything done, and I felt tense and irritable all day.
Cause: The subway was totally crowded this morning, and I couldn't find a seat. Effect: I felt exhausted and uncomfortable during my commute, and I was in a bad mood for the rest of the day.
Cause: I got into a argument with a friend over something small, and it really got to me. Effect: I felt upset and angry all day, and it colored my interactions with other people.
Cause: I've been trying to eat healthier, but I gave in to my craving for ice cream last night. Effect: I felt guilty and disappointed in myself for not sticking to my goals, and it put me in a negative frame of mind.
Cause: I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, and I woke up feeling tired and groggy this morning.
