Faraday’slawofelectromagneticinduction(referredtoasFaraday’s
law)isabasiclawofelectromagnetism,predictinghowamagneticfield
willinteractwithanelectriccircuittoproduceanelectromotiveforce
(EMF).Thisphenomenonisknownaselectromagneticinduction.

Whenever the number of magnetic lines of force (flux) linking
with a coil / or circuit changes, an e.mf. gets induced in that coil
or circuit.
