Thank You Let’s Start the Journey of Happy Learning and lots of Diabetes Reversal

Science of Diabetes and Reversal What is Diabetes Stages of Diabetes Insulin resistance and Causes Complications What is Diabetes Reversal? Stages of the Program

What is Diabetes? Diabetes mellitus, commonly known as diabetes, is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar. The hormone insulin moves sugar from the blood into your cells to be stored or used for energy. With diabetes, your body either doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t effectively use the insulin it does make. There are a few different types of diabetes: Type 1 Diabetes   is an autoimmune disorder. The immune system responsible for fighting bacteria and viruses attacks and destroys the insulin producing cells( Islets of Langerhans) in the pancreas, where insulin is made and hence there is deficiency of insulin to convert glucose to glycogen and energy. Type 2 Diabetes   occurs when your body becomes resistant to insulin, and sugar builds up in your blood leading to hyperglycemia or high sugar levels. stems from a combination of genetics and lifestyle factors. Being overweight or obese increases your risk too. Carrying extra weight, especially in your belly, makes your cells more resistant to the effects of insulin on your blood sugar. Prediabetes  occurs when your blood sugar is higher than normal, but it’s not high enough for a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. We can determine the same if the fasting levels are between 100 and 125 and HbA1C levels are between 5.7 to 6.4% Gestational Diabetes  is high blood sugar during pregnancy. Insulin-blocking hormones produced by the placenta cause this type of diabetes . What is Diabetes?

If we take a diet high in carbohydrates, it increases the glycemic load which increases the output of glucose in the blood. Insulin transfers the glucose in the cells from the blood. Constant increase of glycemic load increases the blood sugar levels which in turn leads to increased secretion of the insulin hormone. Now the cell has a limited capacity to intake the quantity of the insulin and when it sees that excess insulin is trying to come in it shuts its doors or the insulin receptors and causes INSULIN RESISTANCE. At this stage no major symptoms are noticed. Stage 1: Beginning of Insulin resistance It is a phenomenon which is a result of increased insulin resistance. In this stage of diabetes, the amount of insulin present in the blood is higher than the normal range. At this stage diabetes can be detected in the blood test and symptoms like tiredness, increase in weight, PCOD and irregular periods in females, skin darkness etc starts occurring. Stage 2: Hyperinsulinemia Stages Of Diabetes ?

In this stage the fasting levels remains in the range of 100-125 mg/dl and PP remains between 140-199 mg/dl and HbA1C is 5.7 to 6.4%. This stage of diabetes can be reversed with a disciplined and dietary lifestyle disorder as there are no medications prescribed. Stage 3: Prediabetes In this stage diabetes sets in the body hyperglycemia is clearly visible as the fasting levels are higher than 126 mg/dl and PP levels are more than 200 mg/dl and HbA1c is higher than 6.5%. At this stage the patient is recommended to start with oral medications and all the symptoms are seen. With constant consumption of oral hyperglycemic drugs(OHD)s the pancreas are forced to secrete more and more insulin everyday. At one given time the pancreas with so much of load to produce insulin over and over again gets fatigued out so Beta cells doesn’t make any insulin further or makes less insulin as compared to before and hence external insulin has to be taken. STAGE 4: Setting of Diabetes in the body STAGE 5: DESTRUCTION OF BETA CELLS

How Insulin Works? (Picture to be Redone) Stimulus glucose is absorbed after meal Stimulus cells use or store glucose between meals Pancreas Beta cells release insulin into blood INSULIN Liver Muscle and other cells use glucose as an energy source, or convert it into glycogen Blood glucose levels fall; less insulin produced Blood glucose levels rise; less glucagon produced GLUCAGON Liver Converts glycogen into glucose Alpha cells release Glucagon into blood Pancreas Homeostasis Normal blood glucose levels( <110 mg per dl) High blood glucose level Low blood glucose level Converts Glucose to Glycogen, fats and proteins

Root cause Of diabetes Insulin Resistance

Ideal Metabolism and Insulin Resistance

Root cause of Insulin resistance 2 Diet related factors 1 Exercise related factor 1 Stress/Sleep related factor Causes of insulin resistance

2 Diet related factors - Insulin resistance Visceral fat in muscles, pancreas and liver Acidity and Inflammation in the body 1 2

Exercise related - Insulin resistance We start losing muscle mass after the age of 40. We must maintain the muscle mass ASAP because it is the Glucose Store of the body! 3

When you have Poor sleep, Anxiety or Stress, your body produces anti-stress hormones. Cortisol and adrenaline get stuck on the insulin receptors. Stress hormones Diabetes Stress / Sleep related - Insulin Resistance 4

Food items like below should be avoided to reduce insulin resistance Animal based milk Bread Chocolate Biscuit Curd Complex carbs break into sugar slowly and high fibre in them keeps us full for a longer period. Hence, you should consume sugar in form of dals/pulses/legumes which are complex carbs. Salad has more fibre and therefore delays the glucose spikes in the blood. Insulin Resistance – Diet

Acidic & Inflammatory dietary substances Acidic Alcohol Tea and coffee Animal products Milk and milk products 1 Sugar /Jaggery/Honey

Alkaline dietary substances full of minerals, Vitamins and fibre Alkaline Sprouts Herbal smoothie Salads 1

Refined, saturated and milk fats in the diet Poor quality Fats Butter and ghee Red Meat Vanaspati Refined oils 2

Good quality fats and oils Good quality Fats Filtered oil to be used for cooking: Quantity of oils: not more than 3 teaspoons a day Cold pressed and virgin oils to be used for Chutneys and salads Filtered coconut oil Filtered groundnut oil Filtered mustard oil Sesame oil Olive oil Flaxseed oil 2

Stagnated Lymph Lack of Muscle Strength Low Rate of Glucose Infusion Insulin Resistance – 3 exercise related factors

When you are anxious or stressed-out cortisol and adrenaline get stuck on the insulin receptor and block the insulin sites. Stress hormones Insulin Resistance – 1 stress related factor

The Truth About Diabetes > 80% develop heart conditions 66% of diabetics have kidney related issues 22% of diabetics have vision related issues 45% of diabetics have nerve related issues 600 Million people are Diabetic in the world. 1.5 Million deaths per year attributed to diabetes. Objection Handling/FAQs Your program is same as freedom from diabetes. A- We use gamification in the program that makes the program interesting and engaging for the athletes. The diet advised in our program is customised based on the athletes Staple,Food cooked in the kitchen, work schedule and food availability. We are technologically more stronger than FFD and our efficacy rate is more than 95 %. Sugarfit program is 20k for 1 yr. Y should I pay 18k for 6m to you A- We have successfully reversed Diabetes for 10,000 plus patients and our program efficacy rate is more than 95%. Ours is the only program in Asia to be recognised by 3 leading medical journals ADA, ECE, AACE. Ours is an outcome driven prorgam which means we assure you with the results and hence we also provide no outcome no pay policy They want to see the coaches they will be interacting to, also ask for physical presence. A- During the consultation while building the credibility of the program make sure to tell them it's a digital program where they will get a team of 4 personal coaches who will be providing them 1-1 personal consultations Location of our office/want to visit before enrolling (Delhi/NCR people generally) A-We can share the location but be very clear that our program is a digital online program. Trial plans to see if they will be able to perform A- We dont have a trial plan as diabetes is a progressive lifestyle disorder that develops in the body over a period of time due to so many diet, stress, exercise related factors. To see a positive result we work on the root cause of diabetes which is insulin resistance hence it takes around 6 months to achieve Diabetes Reversal. Also, our program is structured in such a way that it becomes very easy to adapt and sustain. We also have a very unique No Outcome No Pay Policy. Complete body checkup/ cgm as our competitors are giving A- We don't rely on CGM because of its inaccuracy and it requires a calibration with Glucometer. Its also very expensive and was invented for type-1 diabetic children who cannot share their symptoms with their parents/guardian. CGM is the measurement of interstitial glucose levels rather than real-time blood glucose levels, thus there will be a delay in the treatment of Hyperglycemia and Hypoglycemia in patients.

Free Trial for 2-3 months? We don’t offer Trial Plan as it takes us some time to work on all the factors that are responsible for insulin resistance, but you can start the program by making part payment to understand and experience the program. I expected a guideline, diet chart! Its not a diet program, its a diabetes reversal program in which diet is one part. Following only a diet chart won’t help you in reversal as we also need to manage the other factors like stress, exercise to reverse it completely. Guidelines are same for all the diabetics but our program is customised based on your region, work schedule, requirements, staple etc. I have time restriction due to busy schedule, can’t follow Our program is designed in such a way that even with your busy schedule you won’t find it difficult to adapt and sustain. It just takes 8 minutes to follow our exercise routine and the diet plan will be based on the food availability and regional preference so it will be easy to follow. Even if you will be travelling our coaches will guide you and give you a travel plan. What if diabetes will reoccur? Diabetes is a lifestyle disorder and insulin resistance is the cause of diabetes, we will be working on getting rid of the root cause in the program and by the end of program you will have a new healthy lifestyle which you will be able to sustain for lifelong without feeling overwhelmed so your chances of going back to a poor lifestyle are very less until you are intentionally doing it again. What is the authenticity and efficacy of program? The efficacy of program is more than 95% and its a clinically approved program that is approved and recognised by 3 leading medical journals ADA. ECE, AACE. You can also connect with our athletes. Inclusions are very less! We provide a team of 4 personal coaches, diagnostic tests, weekly diabetes education webinars, yoga sessions, application access, premium health community all under same program. Why will I take management program? I want reversal! If we are promising management to you it means as per your current health condition and medicine dependency you will see a very good improvement and reduction in medications which is a win-win situation for you and if you follow the protocols properly you might also get off medications by the end of the program.

Better discounts. Free trial for few days for assuring what we are promising and executing exactly , since it's a digital platform Most of the competitors are providing CGM , people want to see their glucose fluctuation with diet and activity Monthly payment option due to financial constraints More comprehensive tests Cheaper price Other monthly options who are not using credit card for EMI Payment option through direct company website Monthly payment option without opting for credit card emi and early salary method. Want physical consultation, they think it will be more beneficial. It's a big commitment not sure whether I can follow with my timming. I will do the payment. Then no payment. Post call i find it pricy. I also do the same methods followed what extra you offer I expected a guideline, diet chart , exercise chart Don't believe online Why I will take management i expect reversal. I am traveling now later. Family Denied. I am following my own method of not works I wil get back in 1 or 3months. Still in discussion not yet decided. Asking for smaller plans, sample plans which they can try for some days as 2 months or 3 months plan. inclusions are very less authenticity and efficiency of the program They want complete body checkup from our end as sugarfit is giving. Time management- they generally say i am not able to follow the regime and all. What if diabetes will recurr. In weight loss program what if i will not get the result, like we have no outcome no pay policy for DR they are asking for WL too 6. They need something related to WL on our websites and app too just like DR.

It’s an AI/ML driven program that provides interventions based on your readings that get tracked using multiple devices. However, we at Breathe Well-being are solving for the lack of motivation and engagement that athletes go through while managing their lifestyle. Explain the gamification, 1-1 intervention and community in detail Continuous Glucose Monitoring seems to be an attraction for everyone who is considering Twin Health. CGM device is mainly for Type 1 diabetic children who can convey their symptoms to parents/doctors. CGM needs a calibration with a Glucometer every week due to its accuracy and consistency. If the athlete is diligent, they can easily take their glucose readings and update in the Breathe Well-being app. Coaches will ask you to update readings at different times – fasting, PP1, PP2 etc. to understand the issues From what we have heard, users find it difficult to maintain their regime at FFD as it becomes monotonous after a few months and eventually come back to square one. We at Breathe Well-being bring in our expertise in gamification and engagement to ensure that you are able to adhere to the program throughout the year while having fun. Our engaging community further ensures that you are actively communicating with the fellow athletes Technologically Superior – We come with a vast experience in technology and our mobile app delivers the entire curriculum + has trackers to monitor yourself regularly Twin health FFD
