Tughlaq revolted and established separate kingdoms Five Sultanates Bidar Berar Bijapur Ahmadnagar golkonda Their rulers were great patronage of arts Paintings are bench-mark of Indo-Persian painting Influence of mural work of Hampi and lepakshi at Vijaynagar Indian music and ragamala painting flourished at Bijapur The ragamala paintings also found in Ahmadnagar and Golkonda The earliest manuscript painting “ Tarif -i- Husayn Shahi ” In Persian style Portrait painting influence of Mughal painting and European naturalism Hindu artists dsplaced from Vijaynagara kingdom afters its fall to Golkonda , Ahmednagar and other Deccan states The Dutch and English came to Golkonda through Muslipatnam port Golkonda painting continued till 1687 when it was conquered by Aurangzeb Along with Mughal style, local style fused The style spread to Hyderabad, Pune, Karnal and Sholapur Ended with the death of Ibrhim Adil Shah of Ahmadnagar Weakened form of it survive till 19 th century
