Gender and Age Distribution The study reveals that 71% of respondents are male, while 29% are female. The majority, 69% , fall within the 20-25 age range, followed by 18% in the 26-30 range, 7% over 30 , and 6% under 20 .
Marital Status and College Major 76% of respondents are single. 21% are married. 3% are divorced. Regarding college major, 69% are in Nursing, 26% in Law, 4% in Pharmacy, and 1% in Engineering.
Study Level and Residence Most respondents are at the fourth level of their studies ( 71% ). Followed by the third level ( 14% ) and second level ( 12% ). The first and fifth levels represent 2% and 1% , respectively. 75% of respondents reside in the city center , while 25% are from rural areas .
Nature of Employment 35% of respondents work in the governmental sector , while 65% are employed in the private sector .
Factors Contributing to Work-Study Conditions The study identifies several factors influencing work-study conditions, with mean scores ranging from 1.75 to 2.15 . Seeking advice from academic advisors and assistance from colleagues at work received the highest mean scores, indicating reliance on external support.
Time Management and Social Responsibility Appreciating time and social responsibility had the lowest mean score ( 1.75 ), suggesting strong agreement among respondents regarding these aspects. Standard deviations indicate variability in responses, with seeking academic advice showing the highest variability ( 1.201 ).
Key Conclusions Balancing studies and work presents both challenges and opportunities for students. Employment fosters time management, problem-solving, and financial independence , but can also lead to stress and academic struggles . Institutional and workplace support are crucial for maintaining a sustainable balance.
