from the ACM “Nobel prize of Computing”.
The Hamming Medal from IEEE in 1990.
Were awarded the National Medal of Science in 1998.
In 1999 Ritchie awarded the U.S. National Medal of
Technology.
The Japan prize for Information and Communication in
2011.
