Dell Server R940

Current Research Resources 18 X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD ) X-ray diffraction (XRD) is a versatile non-destructive analytical technique used to analyze physical properties such as phase composition, crystal structure and orientation of powder, solid and liquid samples. UV-Visible Spectrometer Ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectroscopy is an analytical method that can measure the analyte quantity depending on the amount of light received by the analyte .

Current Research Resources 19 FTIR Spectrometer FTIR Microscope FTIR spectra reveal the composition of solids, liquids, and gases. The most common use is in the identification of unknown materials and confirmation of production materials (incoming or outgoing). FTIR Microscope is a classical spectroscopic method based on inducing molecular vibration in matter by infrared light, used in biology, chemistry, material science and many other disciplines across science.

Current Research Resources 20 X-Ray Florescence Spectrometer Gamma Spectroscopy EDXRF (energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence) is a non-destructive analytical technique that provides quick qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of a wide range of matrices, from low ppm to high weight percent concentrations. Gamma spectrometry is used to detect, identify and quantify gamma-emitting radionuclides

Current Research Resources 21 Licensed Computational Material Physics Softwares The Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package (VASP) is a computer program for atomic scale materials modelling, e.g. electronic structure calculations and quantum-mechanical molecular dynamics, from first principles. Quantum ATK is used to provide solutions for critical materials issues before wafer-based data is available and reduce time and cost in advanced semiconductor modeling and development. WIEN2k is an all-electron scheme including relativistic effects and has many features.
