3. In this project, we have planned to analyse and design an overhead circular
reinforced cement concrete tank, to cater to requirements of Soorankottai panchayat. The population of the village panchayat is estimated as 2500. For this requirement, a circular overhead water tank is planned using the popular drafting software AutoCAD 2D. It is further analyzed using the premiere analysis software STAADPRO. Based on the a nalysis using STAAD PRO, the salient features of the overhead circular water tank is manually designed.
