Illustrator Sketch
This sketch, created using Adobe Illus-
trator, is my creative representation of a
riverscape in Maupin, Oregon. While the
initial inspiration was from a photograph
taken during a fishing trip, my sketch takes
creative liberties, blending elements from
diverse scenic inspirations, including the
majestic Mount Hood and the landscapes of
Montana.
This piece reflects my fly fishing experi-
ence and pays homage to the natural beauty
found in places near and dear to my heart.
I was just learning how to use Adobe Illus-
trator and It was a fun experience trying to
create this. Through making this drawing I
learned how to use many tools including but
not limited to the pen, shape builder, col-
or window, and dropper tools. I have since
expanded on my use of this program and
have been using it for about 5 months now. I
would say that I am proficient with this pro-
gram and will continue to use it throughout
my college and professional life.

This mock-up showcases a backpack with a
custom pattern design, created using Adobe
Photoshop. Starting with a plain backpack
template, I incorporated an original pattern
to transform a basic item into a unique and
personalized one.
The pattern itself is a sketch I made of an
elk made into a pattern repeat with the use
of Adobe Illustrator. Using Photoshop’s lay-
ering and blending tools, the pattern seam-
lessly integrates with the backpack’s con-
tours, maintaining a realistic and polished
appearance.
Attention to detail is evident in the way
the pattern wraps around the bag, align-
ing perfectly with the seams and stitching.
This mock-up acts as a proof of concept for
possible production as well as demonstrat-
ing the versatility of Photoshop in product
design. The end result is a visually strik-
ing backpack that combines functionality
with artistic flair, making it an ideal piece
for anyone looking to stand out with cus-
tom-designed gear.

Striped Bass Beanie
Photoshop Mock-Up
For this mock-up I used Adobe InDesign to
make the pattern repeat. I chose to make it
a patten of a striped bass because striped
bass are my favorite fish. I grew up fishing
for them on the Chesapeake Bay. I chose
a light blue for the background color of the
pattern because it reminded me of the bay.
After making the pattern I sketched a few
rough drafts of the beanie and applied the
pattern repeat to it. For the final mock-up
I used Photoshop’s layering and blending
tools to create a realistic looking beanie
with my pattern on it. This Project really
helped me to iron out my skills and become
more familiar with Photoshop and Illustra-
tor.
