Introduction This paper presents the design and implementation of a two-axis solar tracker system using an ESP32 CAM module combined with an OpenCV algorithm. The system aims to optimize solar energy collection by continuously aligning solar cells with the sun’s position throughout the day. Leveraging the ESP32 CAM’s image processing capabilities and OpenCV for precise object tracking, this setup adjusts the solar cell orientation across two axes for maximal sunlight exposure. Results demonstrate that this low-cost, efficient solution significantly enhances solar energy capture, highlighting its potential in renewable energy applications.

System Components Arduino UNO controller serves as the brain of the project and includes solar panel, servo motor, current sensor, voltage sensor, ESP32 CAM OpenCV algorithm and LCD to perform all operations. The main goal of the work is to increase renewable energy by using solar radiation with solar panels based on ESP32 CAM and Open CV algorithm.

Result Of Study And Conclusion The results showed that this multiple technology that was obtained is very new and achieved the required results and great stability as (18.5 volts) From 10 am to 4 afternoon, and it is better than the previous methods. While the results obtained in the LDR tracking method were close to (17.5 volts), and the results in the fixed tracking method were close to (17.6 volts), all of which are multiple values lower than the results obtained in this research extension using the ESP tracking method. Finally, this method can be relied upon and considered as an artificial intelligence technique, as it relies on the openCV algorithm, which is an algorithm for detecting and distinguishing objects, and Python source language models. In the future, there will be a guaranteed breakthrough in renewable energy research in this field.
