Next steps: PREPARATION OF FINAL MASTER PLAN WITH BLOCK COST ESTIMATES THE PROPOSED TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AT DHAROI DAM REGION SHALL BE TAKEN UP BY TOURISM DEPARTMENT UNDER INDUSTRIES AND MINES DEPARTMENT. TOURISM DEPARTMENT HAS LIMITED OF BUDGET AS COMPARED TO WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT . THIS PROJECT IS ALREADY APPROVED UNDER NEW ITEMS* FOR THE BUDGET OF WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT. THEREFORE, THE BUDGET PROVISION OF SAID WORK SHALL BE INCLUDED UNDER WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT. AND THE WORK SHALL BE GIVEN TO TOURISM DEPARTMENT AS DEPOSIT WORK. MOREOVER, THE WORK SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED ALONG WITH WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT. THE BUDGET PROVISION SHALL BE CONSIDERED 125 TO 150 CR. IN EACH YEAR AS NEEDED. BARRAGE / WEIR SHALL BE DEVELOPED UNDER SEPARATE BUDGET PROVISION AND SHALL BE DEVELOPED BY WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT. IN CONSIDERATION OF THE UPCOMING DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE TRAFFIC, THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY BRIDGE OVER SABARMATI RIVER SHALL BE CONSIDERED WITH 4 LANE ROAD. REQUIRED UPGRADATION OF SH-56, SH-71 AND NH-58 SHALL BE INFORMED TO R&B DEPARTMENT AND NHAI FOR THEIR NEEDFUL ACTIONS. *( SSC-2/NEW ITEM/2220/3007/70/K.3)
