Shares represent your ownership in a company . 2.Issued By Asset Management Companies (AMCs) managing mutual funds. Public or private companies listed on stock exchanges. 3.Ownership Type Indirect – in a pool of assets managed by professionals. Direct – in a company’s equity and voting rights.

Based on market demand and supply , changes every second. 5.Trading Platform Bought/sold through mutual fund platforms or AMCs . Traded on stock exchanges (e.g., NSE, BSE) in real time. 6.Volatility Generally lower (due to diversification). Higher (depends on company performance and market news).
