In any text piece there are many different types of characters with each type having their own traits. This presentation will tell you about the trait and with those you may identify these varied characters next time you go on a reading journey!!!

1. English Formative

In the book Eldest, Eragon was the
protagonist as the story revolves
around him.
In the movie The Lion King, Simba is the
protagonist as he is the main character,
and the story is in his perspective.
Is the character which the story revolves around.

3. Antagonist
In the book Eldest, Galbotorixwas the
antagonist as the character opposes the
protagonist Eragon in achieving his goal of
establishing the Riders once again.
In the book Eragon, the Ra’zacis another antagonist as
the character opposes the protagonist Eragon and wants
to steal the dragon egg so the protagonist cannot achieve
his aim of bringing back the Riders.

4. TERTIARY characters
Arya, in the book Eldest, does not
play any significant role. She
sometimes just give advise to
Eragon.
The Twins, also from the book
Eldest, do not play any important
role. They mostly just fight like
mere soldiers.

5. Sidekick
In the book Eldest, Murtagh was the
sidekick of the antagonist Galbotorixas
he followed Galbotorix.
In the movie Batman & Robin, Robin
was the sidekick of batman and
supported batman in stopping crimes.
Is the character that follows and supports the protagonist or the antagonist

6. Foil CHARACTERs
Draco, in the movie Harry
Potter and the philosopher’s
stone, makes the protagonist
feel positive.
Scar, in the movie The Lion King,
highlights the characteristic of the
protagonist Simba and makes the
protagonist feel good.
