2. DIFI was formed in 2002 by Rahul Sanan and Dr. D.P.
Sanan as the first standalone Nuclear Medicine centre
in the country and was the first unit of its kind to have
brought the clinical utility of Nuclear Medicine.
Since it was a new modality of imaging DIFI conducted
CME’S in various medical forums, hospitals and with
various consultants. It was the first to promote
Myocardial perfusion studies popularly known as
thallium studies and is now proud to mention as a
centre doing the maximum scans for such studies in
the country apart from the other utilities in functional
imaging.
Having made Nuclear Medicine as a successful venture
DIFI promoters ventured into a PPP Model, by placing
a Multislice CT Scanner in a leading Government
Hospital at Delhi in 2009.
In 2012 DIFI ventured into another raw territory in
Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow), by Installing a
GammaCamera (PHILIPS/BRIGHT VIEW X), thereby
becoming the the first private sector Nuclear
Medicine centre of the state.
In 2012 DIFI commissioned a third Nuclear Medicine
centre in South Delhi, by Installing a Gamma
Camera (PHILIPS/BRIGHT VIEW X)to cater to the
growing demands.
We have now installed a state of the art PET CT
of (SIEMENS/BIOGRAPH T16 ECO), at our Hauz
Khas facility, which is operational since June
2015.
DIFI is also commissioning a new Nuclear
medicine Diagnostic centre in Gurgaon by March
2018. Which will be the first standalone Nuclear
medicine centre of the state.
DIFI has now grown into as one of the leading
Nuclear Medicine centers in the country and
performs various tests numbering close to 1500 per
month in totality from all three centers.

the heart of Lucknow, with state-of-art equipment.
Lucknow center was setup in 2012 as the first
