Clamp Multimeter
Itisatypeofdigitalmultimeterinwhich
onecanonlymeasuretheflow
ofelectricity.Ithasatypeofclamp
featureinitasthenamesuggestsit.This
clampiscapableofmeasuringthe
currentflowwhenthetwoprobsget
connectedtothevoltage. Whereas,the
electricpowercanbecalculatedbyusing
itbymultiplyingthecurrentflowwith
thevoltage.

Fluke Multimeter
Itisatypeofdigitalmultimeterwhichisused
forseveralpurposeswhichconsistsofabig
displayandisgenerallyusedtocalculatethe
voltageaswellastheresistance.Sometimes
anadvancedversionofitisalsousedto
calculatethedutycycle,temperature,
humidity,frequency,pressure,andmanymore
electricalparameters.Thisisnotused
commonlyasithasmanyfeaturesinitand
onlyprofessionalscanuseitwithease.Italso
helpsinadjustingdifferenttypesofelectrical
parameters.Itisprotectedbyatransient
voltage.

AutoRangingMultimeter
Itisatypeofdigitalmultimeterwhichis
quitesimpleandexpensivecomparedto
anyothertypeofdigitalmultimeter.Itis
mainlyusedtocalculateallthe
parametersandpropertiesofanelectronic
device. Itconsistsofaknobinitsmiddle
whichisusedtocalculatetheparameters.
Itisgenerallyusedbythosewhoarenot
professionalorelectricians.Itiscapable
ofcalculatingoneelectricalpropertyor
parameteratatime.

Disadvantages
Digital values sometimes fluctuate rapidly
until the reading stabilizes, making them more
difficult to read.
It may take longer for values to “settle” in
some applications, slowing work.
Digital multimeters are more susceptible to
external noise.
