Distribution Automation & Real Time Monitoring Objective Of The Project To provide uninterrupted, quality & reliable power supply to all consumers and has initiated automation of the distribution network in its license area. The primary objective of the project is to achieve customer delight and to be able to provide interruption free 24x7 power to the consumers Present Scenario Presently, TSSPDCL is covering 228 substations in GHMC area and 156 feeders in Hyderabad city for automation as part of on-going SCADA project.

Post Deployment Schema RMU Auto Reclosurs Sectionanalyze r Fault Indicator LTCT Meters Sub Station Feeder TMU DTR IRIS DMS Analytics & BI

Post Deployment Schema Devices like RMU, Auto- Reclosure , Sectionalyzers , Fault Indicators will be installed basing on the requirement across the 11kV transmission line. The threshold values of the above mentioned devices like voltage, Current, Frequency and Power Factor can be configured from the control room using IRIS. The above mentioned devices, will send the “Line” details periodically for every 15 minutes or for desired period. Basing on the Condition Based Monitoring of the “Line Details”, predictive maintenance can be possible. The communication channel between the above mentioned devices and the control room is Cellular technology.
