What skin color does YAHSHUA have?
8 June 2015
Was a question that were asked but I think that in this last stages we are in what does it matter He paid a very costly
price for us to be ransomed from sin and shame, I think we need to ask the question before the door closes, am I going
to be found worthy when our Master and Savior Yahshua HaMashiach returns very soon.
Mat_10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Mat_22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Luk_21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall
come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
*Question #189. Is some of the questions people asks
Did YAHUSHUA have skin liken unto the color of bronze?
While I found your answer to an earlier question about YAHUSHUA’s race (Black) refreshing, I am a bit puzzled. I thought
I read that in the bible "..skin liken unto the color of Bronze and hair liken unto lamb's wool"(European hair isn’t like
wool) as a way to describe YAHUSHUA. Now, I personally do not care what color (race) He was because His glory
outshines any race, creed, or color, I am a bit curious about that reference. Thinking along the line of the questioner,
most people of the area in the middle east were brown (tanned) and curly haired.

Why would it be a far stretch to assume YAHUSHUA was similar in features although not necessarily a African
American. Thanks
(Quoted from the internet).
*The same question
*The Answer:
The earlier question to which you refer is Question 19 [http://www.thywordistruth.com/questions/qa019.htm] .
The verses to which you refer are Revelation 1:14-16.
Does skin color really matter?

His hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass,
as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars:
and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.
*Bible Question:I have been wondering if there are any biblical references to Yahushua' skin color. I have been taught
that Yahushua had skin the color of a penny and hair of wool. Is there any proof in the Bible?
*Bible Answer: The Bible does not give us a description, a hint, or any suggestion about the color of Yahushua' skin or
hair. We are not told if he had long, short, braided, or currly hair. We do not know if Yahushua had a beard or mustache.
The Bible provides no information about Yahushua’ visual appearance whatsoever, except for the following statement in
Isaiah 53.
But Corinthians does teach us that it is unlikely that He would have had long hair
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, (and yet all the
depiction of “J___S is white with long hear and blue eyes and a pale European skin)
For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or
majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. (NASB) Isa. 53:2
[http://biblia.com/bible/nasb95/Isa.%2053.2]
Here we are told that Yahushua was not very attractive. That is, he was not a handsome man. The paintings that
artists have created of Him are purely guesses as to what He looked like. And graven images which the Torah
forbids us to do or partake in.
The New Testament tells us that His mother was a Jew. Since the predominant skin color of Jews varies from a light olive
to a dark olive, His skin color was most likely neither olive or European, but like unto burned bronze.

Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and
worthless.
His feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.

What Yahushua looked like we wouldn’t know, but what His skin color looked like most probably, here is
some examples of burnished bronze.
Revelation 1:15 [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation+1%3A15&version=ESV]

I found nowhere that burnished bronze is an European skin color.

I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist.
His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the
gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.
Daniel 10:5-6 [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Daniel+10%3A5-6&version=ESV]

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to
him shall be the obedience of the peoples. Binding his foal to the vine and his donkey's colt to the choice vine, he has
washed his garments in wine and his vesture in the blood of grapes. His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth
whiter than milk.
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, (and yet all the
depiction of “J___S is European with long blond hair and blue eyes)
I think Yahshua’s feet where as burnished bronze because He walked
threw hell for us to get the keys Rev 1:18 I am He that liveth, and was dead;
and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. And before that He was with
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the BEN (Son) of YAHUA. If you
where walking threw the fire for the ones you love wouldn’t you also take one the appearance of burnished bronze. I am
just asking.
But still the word says in Titus 3:9 to avoid foolish genealogies, and gaurd them as unprofitable and worthless, So people
one of these days we are going to see Him and then we’ll know but in the meantime look unto what He has done for us,
the price He paid for our salvation and freedom and be thankful and praise Him and worship Him and give Him all the
glory.
Shalom Yeter

What does khalkolibanon mean? Because in the original Greek that is what it states. Are dark brown eyes like a flame
of fire? Fire can be reddish or blue. People have blue eyes naturally they have red eyes when they have pink eye or
their eyes are blood shot. What about the stars in his hand or the sword coming from his mouth? What about where he
is described as some sort of slaughtered lamb monster?
Some argue that Jesus was "black"because he went to live in Egypt.1)Greeks lived in Egypt at the time 2)Romans
lived in Egypt at the time.3)Herod was king of Judaea not Egypt,so he had no jurisdiction there anyway.Saying Jesus
had to be black to hide in Egypt during the time in question is like saying a white guy from Iowa could not hide out in
Cape Town. Finally, yes I saw the bronze bowl and yes Jesus could have been that color, but would that make him
black? There are dark WestAsians(Arabs) that color as well as in India, but they are not black. Was Ghandi black?
