 Arogya Sena (Founded in 1995)
A national organization believing in ideology of socialism, secularism, social justice, equality
and democracy, having 14000 dedicated volunteers across 5 states of India and 10 districts of
Maharashtra State.
Aroyga Sena has trained thousands of volunteers in ‘ Disaster Management , Medical Relief
Work and Public,Social,Political health rights’,conducted medical relief work during many
major natural calamities since 1995 provided medical relief to around 41,000 patients till
today and distributed free medicines worth Rs.55 lacs.
Apart from this Arogya Sena is been recognized all over Inida as a force fighting for Public,
social and political health rights of our people.
 Arogya Sena has fought for many public health issues like privatizations of public health,
pollution, garbage depots etc. and is fighting against fake milk racket, inflation ,inefficient
rationing system and many political issues.
Sahriday
A public forum for prevention of heart diseases. Sahriday conducts free heart health check up
camps, conducts public education programmes and provides financial assistance to the poor for
cardiac surgeries. Around 1300 patients received free treatment through the camps in last 2yrs.,
poor patients received 1.6 lacs as financial assistance and 20 patient’s cardiac surgeries were
done at nominal cost of Rs.25,000/- per person.
