DRAW AND EXPLAIN THE WATER CYCLE
Water cycle - is a process in which water changes in different states. It involves evaporation,
condensation, precipitation and collection of water.
STEPS.
1.Evaporation - it's a process whereby water is heated and it starts to change from liquid to gases
(vapour).
2.Condensation - As the vapour moves towards the sky the temperature decreases due to decrease
in pressure. Thus, the vapour in the cooler atmosphere converts back into tiny droplets which
forms the clouds.
3.Precipitation - the tiny droplets accumulating in the clouds, become saturated and can no longer
hold all the water droplets and releases the water in form of snow, rain or hail.
4.Run off- when precipitation hits the ground, it either gets absorbed by the soil inform of
infiltration, or flows over the surface as run-off.
5.Collection - the run-off causes the water to collect in streams, rivers or oceans.
