About Me
Hello! I’m Hope Beesing, a sopho-
more majoring in Interior Design.
I am passionate about creating
spaces that are not only aestheti-
cally pleasing but also functional
and inspiring. My design approach
blends creativity with practicality,
aiming to transform environments
into experiences. As I continue to
build my skills and knowledge, I
am excited to explore new design
challenges and contribute fresh
ideas to every project I undertake.

Analysis
This project is based on the knowledge and learnings of Adobe Illustrator and photoshop. We were
tasked with designing four different patterns using Illustrator and apply them to our major. I made
4 funky and 80’s inspired patterns to create a fun and groovy feeling to an interior space. My mood
board consisted of oranges, greens, and maroons to convey the groovy feeling. Applying these pat-
terns to technical drawings and textured pictures elevated the design and showcased my creative
abilities.
My Takeaways:
Use of Adobe Illustrator
Use of Adobe Photoshop
Learning tool bars and navigating patterns
Creative freedom with patterns

Project 2
Description: Tasked to draft a
floor plan for a modern style
house

Analysis
This project is based on learning and drafting a floor plan using an architectrual scale. We were
tasked to use a 1/4=1 ratio and use an unscalled drawing of a floor plan. This floor plan is taken
from a modern styled house and used for the purpose of each assignment in this class.
My takeaways:

Use of an architectural scale
Use of line weights
Strategic placement of door swings
Compostion of a standard floor plan

Project 3
Description: Tasked to construct
10 two-point perspective chairs

Linear Perspective Construction Overlay 1, 10 Chair Thumbnails Hope Beesing

Analysis
This project is based on constructing two-point perspective boxes creating proportionate chairs. We
were tasked to build inside the perspective boxes to create a chair in the perspective of the box.
My takeaways:

Constructing a proportional box
Use of two-point perspective to convey depth
Use of shadows and projected light
Use of constructing a chair within a proportional cube
