Dubai Metro route map serves as a journey planner that helps you find the best route

This is a new Dubai Metro Map with Expo 2020 New Route which includes stations on
routes: the red Line, Green Line as well as Route 2020. It also shows the areas that
vehicles and stations are located within. Zone data is useful in calculating tolls.
Red Line: The Red Line will have 29 stations, which include four underground, 24
raised and one on the below ground.

Expo 2020 Route is an expansion of the Dubai Metro. It connects Jebel Ali Metro
Station (Formerly called Nakheel Harbor) and Tower) with Expo 2020. Expo 2020 site

Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Dubai Investment Park.

Dubai Metro Route 2020: 4 New Stations Open
From January 1, 2021
Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of Board of Executive
Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced Route 2020,
the extension of the Dubai Metro line that runs from Jebel Ali Station to Expo
2020 station.
"The initial phase of operation would include four stations which include: Jebel
Ali (interchange station), The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, and Al Furjan
Stations The three other stations would be added later on," said Al Tayer in a
statement released on Saturday.

"RTA will be celebrating the New Year by launching operating Route 2020,
which serves the areas with a high density of residents, inhabited by 270,000
people, such as The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Golf
Real Estates as well as The Dubai Investment Park as well as the venue for the
Dubai Expo. It is possible to see all routes in the Dubai Metro Map shown

The choice of stations to opening on the 1st of January was determined by
different parameters including the density of the population near the station, the
anticipated number of passengers and commercial activity in the region served
by stations, and the connections to other public transportation means for each
station.
"The introduction of Route 2020 for the public comes after the successful
conclusion of four tests and operational trials which included the static testing
of metro systems and carriages as well as the test of the rolling equipment

Service Timings of Dubai Metro Route 2020
"The initial journey of Route 2020 will start from Jabal Ali Station to Al Furjan

am and will end at 12 noon (midnight) on Saturdays and Wednesday.
The Thursday trip begins at 05:00 am while the last one begins at 01:00 am (of
the next day).
For Fridays, the first trip will begin at 10:00 am. The final one will begin at
01:01 am (of the next day).
The trip to Jabal Ali and Al Furjan stations takes approximately six minutes. The
frequency of service (headway) is 10 minutes with the rate of six trains an
hour. The route will be able to serve 4,176 people per hour in one the direction
of travel," noted Al Tayer.

"Nineteen buses operating on four routes will connect Route 2020 stations to
ease the mobility of passengers between and to stations. Two of these routes
will arrive on The Gardens Station, and the other two will be at Al Furjan
Station. Taxi service will be offered at operating stations." the official added.

Jebel Ali Station:-
The four stations that operate have elevated station. The first station is Jebel
Ali Station. This is which is an interchange station that connects to that of the
Red Line. The station covers an area of 8800 square meters of area and is 150
meters long. It is able to serve 17000 passengers every hour during peak times
and 320,000 passengers per day. The station is equipped with four rail-boarding
platforms, four bus stations as well as 17 taxi stand and seven parking spaces
for those with determination. There are eight outlets with a total area of 388
square meters that are suitable for commercial investments.

The other station is known as the Gardens station, which covers 8100 square

size of 149 square metres for commercial investments.
Al Furjan Station:-
The fourth one is Al Furjan station spanning 8400 square meters of area and
stretching to 168 meters in length. It can accommodate 6770 passengers every
hour during peak times and 125,000 passengers per day. The station is
equipped with two rail platform for boarding as well as four bus stops, 20 taxi
stands, and two parking spaces for those with a strong determination. The
station also has four retail outlets that cover space of 149 square meters that
are suitable to commercial investors.
Capacity of Route 2020
Route 2020 can accommodate a maximum of 46,000 passengers per hour, in
both directions (23,000 passengers per hour for each direction). RTA's studies
predict that the number of people who use Route 2020 to reach 125,000 per day
by 2021, and to increase to 275,000 daily riders in 2030. The research also

indicates how Expo Station is anticipated to provide services to 35,000 people
who visit Expo on weekdays, with the number could grow to 47,000 daily visits
on weekends. This figure represents 29 percent of the expected total number of
