" I don't feel sad , but not happy either " What is Dysthymia?
Slide 2
What is Dysthymia? Dysthymia is a type of chronic depression. It's also called Persistent Depressive Disorder.
Slide 3
How does it feel? One lives with almost daily fatigue, low motivation, low self-esteem, and the feeling of being on autopilot.
Slide 4
Have you ever felt? That the sadness never went away, that you could continue with your life but without enthusiasm, as if nothing had color.
Slide 5
Why does it happen? It may be due to biological factors, painful experiences, or prolonged stress.
Slide 6
Can it be treated? Yes. With psychotherapy, in some cases with medication, and with constant support. Recovering color in your life is possible.
Slide 7
If you cannot go to therapy Talk to someone you trust. Write down what you feel. Take care of your rest. Give yourself permission to feel.
