High Transparency Now citizen can quickly get the information about the services for which they may have applied It reduces the gap between the citizens and Government.
Reduced Corruption Makes all bureaucratic process transparent and clear Bureaucratic means : A system for controlling and managing a country, company or organisation that is opearted by a large no. of officials employed to follow rules carefully
Direct participation of constituents People can now report various problems on the government portal and the different govt. bodies present on the portal can collaborate with people to provide solution to those problems
Reduction in overall cost Expenditure on the development of infrastructural facilities is minimized to a large extent.
DISADVANTAGES OF E-GOVERNANCE
Disadvantages of E-Governance Expenditure on the development of infrastructural facilities is minimized to a large extent. Non –Availability of Internet services in many rural areas Govt. Portals are fully not able to manage cyber attacks, stealing and misuse of data by hackers Lack of awareness among people about the services provided by e-governance. Many services are still not the part of E-governance.
