What is Formal and Informal E.mail? Informal E.mail An informal letter or email is usually between people who know each other fairly well. Formal E.mails are written for official or professional communication.
What is Emoticons?? A representation of a facial expression such as a smile or frown, formed by various combinations of keyboard characters and used in electronic communications to convey the writer's feelings. E.mail Jargon lurk - To read messages anonymously (in either a mailing list or Usenet newsgroup) without posting. ping - Test to see if the other person is there/awake/available. Subject Line They are like Newspaper headlines.They should convey main point of your e.mail. Greetings Use some kind of greetings.Do not just start with your text. e.g. Dear Mr.Zubair, It is also becoming quite common to write the greeting without a comma.
