We should always care for our Mother Earth

2. How it was started World Earth Day was first marked on April 22,1970 ,During 1969 in UNESCO meeting in San Francisco.John Mcconnell a peace campaigner ,Pushed for Mother Earth and for the concept of peace. World Earth Day was initially scheduled to take place on March 21,1970 ,The first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.However ,US senator Gaylord Nelson later proposed a countrywide environmental education campaign on April 22,1750,Which he dubbed as ‘Earth Day’

3. Why do we celebrate Earth Day Earth Day reminds citizens of the world of the importance of environment conservation and sustainability, Encouraging us to come together and take action for a healthier planet and brighter future. The day raises awareness and inspire change, fostering a deep connection with nature. Each year the Earth provides an opportunity for individuals, communities, and nations to come together and take action towards a greener and more sustainable future

4. Our role on Earth Day As young people ,we a vital role in addressing these challenges and develop a sustainable future.We have power to make conscious choices in our daily lives that reduce our impact on the environment such as,using reusable bags,bottles and containers. We also have power to advocate for change whether it’s participation in environmental clean up activities,supporting conservation efforts or raising awareness about environmental issues in our communities among people.

5. Pledged Pledged Let us take pledge on this Earth Day for our Mother Earth who provided us everything from food to shelter.We promise our Mother Earth that we will reduce the use of non-biodegradable Materials like synthetic fibre and polythene. we promise that we will conserve our precious resources like water and air.We will try to make less air pollution and water pollution. We should always respect our nature we should follow guidelines that protect our environment like ‘one man one plant’ afforestation.We should celebrate festivals like van mahotsav it is also known as ‘forest festival’.
