The earliest history of bird’s trading
can be traced back to year 1589.
Admiral Cheng Ho came to
Southeast Asia and brought back
edible Bird’s nest from Indonesia
as a gift to Ming Dynasty’s
Emperor.
Thus opening the trade of this
valuable nest.

Some researcher even said it can
be traced back to 1000 years ago
during the Tang Dynasty (A.D.
618-907).
During that era, only the family of
the Emperor and his minister had
the privilege of consuming the high
priced bird’s nest.

•Swiflets make their nest using their saliva (secretion
of love), therefore the highly valued edible bird's nest
are actually the dried secretion of swiftlets.

Swiflets are found predominantly in south-east
Asia, in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia,
Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. Small colonies
of swiflets may also be found in some remote areas
of India and Sri Lanka.
Up to date, Malaysia is the third largest bird’s nest
producer in the world. We produce high quality
